Fix 1: Check Teams Device Settings

  1. Click your profile picture → Settings → Devices
  2. Select your headset or microphone under Audio devices
  3. Click Make a test call to verify

Fix 2: Check Windows Privacy for Teams

  1. Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
  2. Scroll down and find Microsoft Teams
  3. Make sure it is toggled ON

Fix 3: Set Default Audio Device

  1. Right-click the speaker icon → Sound settings
  2. Under Output, select your headset or speakers
  3. Under Input, select your microphone

Fix 4: Restart Teams

  1. Close Teams completely (right-click taskbar icon → Quit)
