I built MicCheck Online after spending too much time troubleshooting mic and webcam issues before Zoom calls. Most people just need a quick, honest browser-based test — no downloads, no account, no nonsense. I built the simplest version of that tool, and kept adding more as people asked for them.
Why This Exists
Modern browsers give you everything needed to test audio and video devices through WebRTC, Web Audio, and the Gamepad API. The problem is most people don't know how to use these APIs — and existing tools either require downloads, subscriptions, or are buried in confusing UIs.
