Common Mouse Problems

Double-click registering as single:

The micro-switch wears out and registers two contacts for one press. If left-click shows +2 for a single press, the switch is failing.

Right-click not working:

• Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Mouse → check right-click is enabled

Scroll wheel skipping:

• Dust inside the scroll encoder
• Clean with compressed air

Cursor jumping:

• Clean the sensor with a dry cotton swab
• Try a different mouse pad (optical mice struggle on glass)
