Zoom: Settings → Audio → Input level → adjust slider
Teams: Settings → Devices → Microphone → drag the slider
Meet: Settings → Audio → test the level
Fix 5: Disable Auto-Adjust
- Zoom: Settings → Audio → uncheck "Automatically adjust microphone volume"
What Level Should You Aim For?
At normal speaking volume, the input meter should reach 60-80% on our mic test. Peaks above 90% risk clipping.
